My Answer: My favorite class in school has always been my foreign language class (closely followed by math and science). In elementary/middle school I loved Spanish. In high school I was skeptical about having to take Russian [the only language offered], but wound up enjoying it as well. Now in college, I'm taking classes in Arabic and Italian - actually I'm majoring in Italian. I'm hoping that eventually I'll be able to speak some of these languages fluently, but sadly I'm not at that level yet.Follow Friday Question: What is/was your favorite subject in school?
My Answer: Way tooo many!! City of Fallen Angels & The Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare, Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, Blood Bound (tentative title) & If I Die & Chicks Kick Butt antho by Rachel Vincent.Blogger Hop Question: "What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?"
Reasons Why: I love Rachel Vincent, so I basically devour every book she writes... If I Die is the next book in her Soul Screamers series and Blood Bound is the first book in her new adult series [I'm super excited!]. Cassandra Clare is also a fantastic author and I love both her series, and totally can't wait for those two installments. And I just recently finished Linger by Stiefvater, and loved it (review here), so I'm dying to see what happens next in Forever. As you may or may not have noticed, I am hooked on series books lol.
I LOVE Cassandra Clare as well. Cannot wait for CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS.

HI New Follower - I see you like math and languages. Math, my professors told me is a language with very strong syntax. When you do conic sections in Calculus you start to see how math describes things with great precision. But, I have forgotten a lot of math.
ReplyDeleteAnyway. Hope you will stop on by Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust
