This challenge is absolutely perfect for me! It's called
Show Me the Free Challenge and is hosted by Missie at
The Unread Reader. The goal is to read a minimum of 12 free e-books (not the kind illegally downloaded or received from NetGalley.... the kind of e-books that are offered for free on sites like Amazon and Barnes and Noble). So why is this challenge perfect for me? Because I am NOTORIOUS for downloading piles (imaginary piles, that is) of free e-books [because who can resist?!] but then never getting around to reading them. This challenge will motivate me to get these books off my TBR pile!
Check my Progress:
Tentative reading list. Once I finish a book and review it I'll change it to
boldface and link the title to my review.
- The Apothecary's Daughter by Julie Klassen
- The Bite of Silence by Mary Hughes
- Camille by Tess Oliver
- Carved in Bone by Jefferson Bass
- Catch of a Lifetime by Judi Fennell
- House of Dark Shadows by Robert Liparulo
- Romeo Romeo by Robin Kaye
- Wish by Alexandra Bullen
Novellas:
- The Darkest Fire by Gena Showalter
Short Stories:
- Remedial Magic by Jenna Black
- Retro Demonology by Jana Oliver
